Instruments

My main instrument is the MARTIN d18 vintage, which I found in a small guitar store in L.A. She is a good workhorse with a pretty warm sound - quite strong in the midranges.

My first proper steel string guitar: Betty a 018 martin from 1954. She was imported by Hans Theesink and sold to me by fingerpicker Peter Ratzenbeck (heavily overpriced!). A baby! She is very small but super-easy to play and a bit bluesy.

Ibanez/George Benson
I bought her in Sweden from a music store owner by the name of Batil Francis. It’s straight out of the woods, the perfect jazz guitar but also great for funky finger-picking pieces. A clean machine.

Fender classic stratocaster
What can I say, a classic! Great clean sound and good for songs, ideas and crunchy riffs.

Gibson Bass
Meshelle Negeocello, try playing 6 hours of reggae or funk bass—and u are in trance –heavy meditation through repetition. (Please check out my friend singer Sabina Sciubba of the Brasilian Girls-a New York based band, she sang on Meshell Ndegeocello´s recent album)

Studio
Practical - but technology is a huge pain the in ar….. for me.
